The UTAS 516 Straight Pull AR15 is the perfect rifle for any shooter in New Zealand. Designed in partnership with UTAS Defense, the 516 offers the ergonomics, features and customizability of an AR-15, but with a unique straight-pull configuration. It is cycled by a modified side charging handle that extends up the left side of the firearm, though standard AR charging handles are compatible for a more classic look.
The UTAS 516 is also highly customizable, allowing owners to tailor their rifle to their individual shooting style and needs. It can be equipped with various different stocks, sights, handguards and other accessories to create a truly unique firearm. With all these features, the UTAS 516 is an ideal rifle for competitions, hunting or recreational shooting. Best of all, the UTAS 516 can be owned on a standard A-Category NZ firearms license.
