Delta Mike Ltd is committed to 100% customer satisfaction!

We know that sometimes it is hard to always choose the perfect product whilst online and that is why we offer a generous exchange and refund process.

If you find that a purchase wasn’t what you were expecting, doesn’t fit your needs or you simply aren’t happy with it, you can return it any time.

Items returned within 45 days are entitled to a refund. Items returned after 45 days will be issued store credit. Returned items must be complete and in original condition with all packaging materials included. Firearms can only be returned for a refund if a repair or replacement is not available.

Any products that are returned that do not comply with original condition standards will be sent back to you at your expense.

Returns Procedure:

Send an email to sales@deltamike.co.nz with the following information:

  1. Your name.
  2. Your customer order number or copy of invoice.
  3. What you require from us, exchange or refund. (If exchange please specify what you require)
  4. Reason for exchange or refund.

Upon receiving the goods at Delta Mike premises one of our friendly team members will issue a direct exchange or refund. If your exchange requires extra payment, we will contact you.

Please allow up to 7 days for this exchange or refund to be processed.

Warranty/Forever Guarantee

While the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair-Trading Act provide the basis for Delta Mike Ltd’s returns policy, we in fact go above and beyond the expectation of these two statutory laws by offering a Forever Guarantee on products sold by Delta Mike Ltd.

We stand behind our products and only carry gear that we have 100% confidence in. If you ever find a fault with a product we’ll repair or replace it free of charge, forever.

Forever Guarantee applies to the original owner along with proof of purchase.

Forever Guarantee does not cover damage resulting from misuse or negligence.  

Products not covered by the Forever Guarantee: Ammunition, Projectiles, Second-Hand Firearms, Gun Powder, Primers, Liquids.

Warranty Repairs (General Items)

If a product you have purchased has a manufacturing defect or has failed, please contact us.

Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear or failure from careless or improper use.

Upon receiving an item returned for repair or replacement, our staff will test the product to determine the nature of the defect or if the item is defective at all. If the item is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge.

If a returned item is found to be in good working order a $30 fee may be charged for testing, handling and return shipping. This fee will need to be paid before the items are returned to you. Please test the item thoroughly before returning it to avoid this expense.

Warranty Repairs (Firearms)

Before initiating a firearm return, please ensure that the experienced issue is actually a fault or defect with the firearm.

Firearms require regular maintenance and lubrication to function reliably. New firearms are often shipped with packing grease to prevent corrosion. This grease needs removed and replaced with a firearm lubricant. If you are having reliability issues with a new firearm, but have not thoroughly cleaned and lubricated it, please do this first before contacting us.

The following issues are not faults or defects with a firearm:

  • Failures to cycle low powered, reduced recoil or reloaded ammunition
  • Failures to cycle a particular brand or type of ammunition
  • Failures due to poor maintenance or lack of lubrication
  • Accuracy issues with a particular brand or type of ammunition
  • Accuracy issues with reloaded ammunition

If you are experiencing the above issues, please ensure your firearm is cleaned and properly lubricated and test the firearm with at least 4 alternative types of ammunition.

If you are still having issues with a firearm, please contact us and we may be able to assist you through it. Please describe the issue exactly as experienced and provide photos. Please do not exaggerate the frequency or severity of the issue, this will only make providing a solution more difficult.

If you cannot resolve the issue, the firearm will need to be returned to us for repair or replacement. This can be done through the Dealer Network or a Mainfreight depot.

Upon receiving a firearm returned for repair or replacement, our staff will test the firearm to determine the nature of the defect. If the item is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge.

If the returned firearm is found to be in good working order, or is brought into good working order by simple cleaning and lubrication, a $60 fee may be charged for testing, handling and return shipping. This fee will need to be paid before the firearm is returned to you. Please test the firearm thoroughly before returning it to avoid this expense.
