Flat-rate shipping throughout New Zealand, with specialist freight options for firearms, ammunition, dangerous goods, gun safes and oversized items.
When an order contains multiple special-freight products, only the single highest applicable shipping charge will be applied.

Special Freight
Firearm Delivery
Dealer or Mainfreight depot collection
Firearms may only be freighted to selected Mainfreight depots or another firearms dealer for collection.
Courier delivery to a dealer is generally slightly faster, but the receiving dealer may charge a collection or transfer fee. The purchaser must contact the dealer first and confirm that they are willing to receive the firearm.
Mainfreight depot collection does not incur a dealer collection fee.
Ammunition and Dangerous Goods
Specialist dangerous-goods freight
Ammunition can be delivered directly to your residential address. Ammunition shipping is charged at $50.00, with free shipping on ammunition orders over $500.
Dangerous-goods shipments to the North Island may experience delays of up to two weeks because of ferry transport restrictions.
Oversized Items and Gun Safes
Additional handling and freight requirements
Oversized products such as ammunition cans, firearm hard cases and large reloading presses incur a $10.00 surcharge per item.
Gun safes require specialist freight and are charged at $180.00 per safe.
Shipping Policy
Courier Partners
We use a range of freight and courier partners throughout New Zealand and overseas, including NZ Couriers, Post Haste, Asendia, Australia Post, Mainfreight, Toll Group and Aramex.
The carrier selected for your order will depend on its destination, required delivery timeframe, parcel size, contents and value.
Tracking and Signatures
A tracking number will be included in the shipping confirmation email for every dispatched order.
Courier orders require a signature upon delivery. To disable the signature requirement, leave a note during checkout. Signature-required delivery is not available for rural addresses.
Same-Day Dispatch
Same-day dispatch applies to eligible weekday orders placed before 1pm.
The products must be in stock. Orders requiring Mail Order Forms, export documentation, dangerous-goods freight, special requests or other manual processing are excluded.
Split Shipping
Orders containing out-of-stock products will usually be split shipped. Available products will be sent first instead of holding the entire order until every item is ready.
This allows you to receive the available portion of your order without unnecessary delay.
International Orders
International Shipping
Update 7 June 2025: Due to ongoing deliverability issues involving firearm-related products, we have suspended standard international shipping.
Too many international shipments were being delayed, returned or rejected. We will continue to monitor the situation and reconsider international shipping if conditions improve.
GST on International Orders
Website prices include New Zealand’s 15% Goods and Services Tax by default. International customers are not required to pay New Zealand GST.
Selecting another country in the shipping calculator on the cart page will automatically remove GST from eligible orders.
Shipping Restrictions
Any legal obligations imposed by the destination country, including import permits or licences, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Please check your local laws and regulations before purchasing restricted or potentially restricted products from Delta Mike Ltd.
The purchaser assumes responsibility for any loss or expense caused by failing to comply with applicable import laws or local regulations.
We can export firearms in certain circumstances, but you must contact us before placing an order so that we can assess the requirements and assist with export paperwork. International firearm shipping is expensive and is generally not viable for individual firearms or small quantities.
