Placing an order with us

Each order placed for products through the site that we accept, results in a separate binding agreement between you and Delta Mike ltd for the supply of those products. Delta Mike Ltd’s acceptance of any order does not occur until the order has been fully processed and is ready for dispatch.

By submitting your order, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to all legal obligations associated with the purchase of the items listed in your order.

We will take payment from you at the checkout. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, we will refund your payment to the account it originated from and advise you that the goods are no longer available.

An order is placed on our website by adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you can print as a receipt of your order. We will then email you with confirmation that your order has been received.

We reserve the right at our sole discretion to refuse or cancel any orders.

All prices listed on www.deltamike.co.nz are subject to change without notice and by default are for New Zealand customers displayed and billed in New Zealand dollars.

  • Delta Mike Ltd does not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by Paystation.

For security purposes certain transactions may require proof of identification.

Ownership, Delivery and Delivery Charges

When your order leaves our premises, ownership passes to you.

Our freight suppliers in New Zealand are:

For courier parcels – NZ Couriers
For firearms – Aramex or Mainfreight
For Gun Safes and other large items– Mainfreight


North Island – please allow up to 3 working days, plus an extra 2-3 days for rural deliveries.
South Island – please allow up to 2 working days plus an extra 2-3 days for rural deliveries.

Dangerous Goods Ammunition class 1.4s – please allow up to 7 days as these goods are restricted freight. No rural deliveries.

By placing your order, you are accepting that these companies will be responsible for carrying your goods.

Please note for your protection that a signature is required for all deliveries where available. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have left our premises.

You will receive an email that confirms that your order has been dispatched.

To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package. You can track your order by entering the tracking number emailed to you in the dispatch email, into the relevant courier’s website.

Returns & Refunds

Order Cancellations

Any order cancelled at the purchaser’s request will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Special order or supplier stock items cannot be cancelled.

Out of Stock items

We work hard to ensure our stock level information is correct and we will not accept your order if we know your selected item is not available. However, should we be unable to fill your order, you will be notified and your credit card refunded.

Backorders/Preorders

A backorder confirms that any product on the backorder that is received by Delta Mike Ltd will be reserved for that backorder. It does not guarantee the supply of any product within a specified timeframe. Any items that are in stock, or come into stock, will be split from the backorder and processed immediately. Unless a backorder is fully paid, the prices of items on a backorder are subject to change. Backorders can be cancelled at any time, with a refund issued minus a 20% cancellation fee—or a non-refundable deposit, if specified. Backorders that are not fully paid within 14 working days of notification of the stock arriving will be cancelled and refunded, less any non-refundable deposit if applicable.

Special Orders

Special orders are items not normally held in stock and are ordered specifically at a customer’s request. As these products are sourced individually, special orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

Import to Order

Products imported to order—such as Prohibited Firearms, Prohibited Parts, Prohibited Magazines, Restricted Weapons, and Pistol Carbine Conversion Kits—are brought in on behalf of the end user, with Delta Mike Ltd acting solely as the importing agent. Full payment is required before order confirmation. Due to the restricted nature of these items and Delta Mike Ltd’s role as agent only, orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed. If the purchaser chooses not to proceed after confirmation, they will be responsible for nominating an alternative approved recipient for the goods. Estimated delivery dates are based on the best information available at the time and may be subject to change.

Layby Policy

Delta Mike Ltd offers flexible layby options over 4, 8, 12, or 16 weeks. A deposit of 6.25%–25% is required at the time of purchase, depending on the term selected, along with a one-off $10 setup fee. The remaining balance is paid in equal weekly instalments each Wednesday, and all layby arrangements are interest-free.

If a scheduled payment is unsuccessful, you will have 14 days to complete the payment. If payment is not made within this timeframe, the layby may be cancelled.

Under the Fair Trading Act, customers may cancel a layby at any time before taking possession of the goods. Cancellations can be made by contacting us via email, phone, or in person. If you cancel a layby—or if it is cancelled due to missed payments—a cancellation fee will apply to cover the direct costs involved in administering the layby and holding stock aside.

The cancellation fee consists of a $40 handling charge, plus $10 for each week the layby has been active, plus 5% of the order total per week, capped at 40% of the order value. Any amount paid in excess of this cancellation fee will be refunded to you.

All goods remain the property of Delta Mike Ltd until the full purchase price has been paid. Once all payments are completed, your order will be dispatched or made available for collection.

Build to Order

Products that are built to order require a minimum 50% payment before order confirmation. Due to the custom nature of the items being built, the order cannot be cancelled once confirmed. In the event that the purchaser does not want to continue with the order after confirmation, the purchaser will need to find an alternative recipient for which the order can be transferred to. Any estimated delivery date is based on the information available to Delta Mike Ltd at the time.
