The UTAS 516 M16A4 brings the look and feel of the U.S. military’s M16A4 service rifle into a New Zealand-legal straight-pull platform.
Adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps in the late 1990s, the M16A4 represented the final evolution of the M16 family. Featuring a 20-inch barrel, detachable carry handle, and full-length rifle configuration, it became synonymous with the Global War on Terror era and remains one of the most recognisable military rifles ever fielded.
The UTAS 516 M16A4 faithfully recreates the classic profile and handling characteristics of the original, combining traditional M16A4 styling with familiar AR-15 ergonomics in a manually-operated straight-pull configuration
