Designed alongside UTAS Defense, Delta Mike LTD is pleased to offer the fully compliant UTAS 516 Straight Pull AR-15 to the New Zealand market. This rifle offers users the ergonomics, features, customizability, and overall experience of an AR-15 albeit within a straight-pull configuration. The UTAS 516 uses altered takedown pin dimensions to prevent use with mil-spec uppers/lowers.
The UTAS 516 is cycled by a modified side charging handle that extends up the left side of the firearm. Standard AR charging handles are compatible for those after a generic AR-15 look for their rifle.
Overall, UTAS Defense has delivered an outstanding rifle for the NZ shooting community. And the best part is you can own the UTAS 516 on a standard A-Category NZ firearms license.
