The UTAS 516 MK18 Mod 1 brings the look and feel of the legendary MK18 into a New Zealand-legal straight-pull platform.

Developed from the CQBR (Close Quarters Battle Receiver) program, the MK18 was designed to provide U.S. special operations forces with a compact, hard-hitting rifle for use in vehicles, confined spaces, and urban environments. Its combination of a short barrel and RIS II rail quickly made it instantly recognizable.

The UTAS 516 MK18 Mod 1 captures the distinctive appearance of the original while retaining the familiar ergonomics and handling of the AR platform in a manually-operated straight-pull configuration.
