The Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo provides unprecedented recoil reduction and match-grade accuracy in a concealed carry package. Its threadless barrel design allows for effortless installation and removal for cleaning while remaining legal for sale in all 50 states.*

The AFTERBURNER™ compensator is machined from hardened stainless steel, while the RAMJET™ barrel is manufactured from hardened 416R stainless steel. Both components are enhanced with a Radianite™ coating for low friction, high hardness, corrosion resistance, and exceptional durability against erosion caused by muzzle blast. Angled front faces on the AFTERBURNER™ also aid in holstering.

The INTRA-LOK® mounting system uses the taper-lock principle. A tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel, perfectly timing the compensator as it locks onto the upper barrel profile at the muzzle.

INTRA-LOK® allows the user to slide the compensator over the barrel, insert the locking screw, and tighten it for a simple, secure, and repeatable installation. The system also allows the barrel to be easily removed from the slide for cleaning.

When installed on a RUGER® RXM® 4″, the AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ combo increases the overall slide length to that of an RXM® 4.5″, allowing compatibility with RXM® 4.5″ and Glock™ G17®-equivalent holsters.

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the magazine and visually inspect the chamber to confirm that the pistol is unloaded.
2. Remove the slide from the frame according to the original manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Remove the recoil spring assembly and existing barrel.
4. Apply a light coating of oil to the exterior and barrel hood of the Radian® RAMJET™ barrel.
5. Install the RAMJET™ barrel into the slide and reinstall the recoil spring assembly.
6. Slide the AFTERBURNER™ micro-compensator over the RAMJET™ barrel.
7. Tighten the tapered locking screw to 15 in.-lb.
8. Reinstall the assembled slide onto the frame.
9. Test the firearm for proper function to complete the installation.

Cleaning Instructions:

Clean the inside of the RAMJET™ barrel bore in the same manner as any other pistol barrel, using a cleaning patch or bore snake. When anticipating a high round count, apply heat-resistant gun oil to the barrel-to-compensator interface before installing the AFTERBURNER™ to help prevent carbon lock.

If the AFTERBURNER™ becomes carbon locked to the barrel, submerge the assembled AFTERBURNER™ and RAMJET™ in gun oil or CLP overnight, then rotate the compensator to break it free.

Aftermarket Compatibility:

Although the Radian® AFTERBURNER™ + RAMJET™ was designed for OEM slides, it is compatible with many aftermarket slides. To confirm compatibility with a specific slide, contact the Radian Weapons Customer Service Team at support@radianweapons.com.
