The Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard is a premium upgrade for AR15/M4 firearms with carbine-length gas systems, offering enhanced ergonomics, improved heat protection, and versatile M-LOK accessory mounting in a slim, lightweight design. Its narrow profile improves weapon handling while maintaining the durability expected from Magpul’s reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction.

An integral riveted aluminum heat shield, combined with the extended front lip and side panels, helps protect the support hand from heat generated during sustained firing. The hand guard also features M-LOK slots at the 2, 6, and 10 o’clock positions for direct attachment of compatible accessories or MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail sections. A relief cut at the top rear accommodates overhanging optics for greater compatibility.

The MOE SL Hand Guard is a direct replacement for standard two-piece M4 carbine hand guards and installs using the factory delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap. It is compatible only with firearms featuring a carbine-length gas system, an A2 front sight assembly, and a round front retaining cap.
