FX AIRGUNS POWER SLUG KIT – DREAMLINE
This simple kit brings some key modifications to the rifle to maximize the power and accuracy potential of the Impact, especially when using slugs. Velocity increases are achieved in large part to the addition of two hammer weight spacers that placed in front of the return spring on the hammer weight guide.
This allows for more compression on the hammer spring as well as adding more weight to the overall hammer. Working in harmony with this modification is a lighter valve return spring. This lighter spring allows the valve to stay open slightly longer which allows more air through to propel heavier projectiles like airgun slugs.
Part of this kit is a 5.5 mm (.22) probe with included bush that’ll slide on with an interference fit to change it into a 6.35 mm (.25) probe. Another part in the FX Dreamline Slug Power kit that influences the speed is a tungsten hammer, which opens the valve longer because it is heavier than its steel counterpart, and thus releases more pressurised air.
All parts are machined with very tight tolerances and the set is suitable for use in all types of the FX Dreamline.
Disclaimer: Any modification done to the airflow of your rifle, will affect the entire setup and performance, you might need to re-adjust the settings of your rifle again to get the best possible performance.
