Double Alpha Extra-Short Dillon Powder Bar

The DAA Extra-Short Dillon Powder Bar was developed to solve a specific issue introduced with the Dillon XL750 press. In the XL750, the Dillon Powder Measure is angled so the powder bar must extend directly over station #4 in the toolhead and cannot be repositioned. While this is not an issue when using a short die in that station, it becomes problematic when running a powder check in station #3 and a bullet dropper in station #4, as the original Dillon powder bar extends too far and can interfere with the bullet dropper.

The DAA Extra-Short Powder Bar resolves this by shortening the extension range toward station #4 by a full 30mm (1.15″). When fully extended, the bar stops short of contacting a Mr.Bulletfeeder Dropper or Mini Mr.BF tube assembly, allowing reliable operation when using both a powder check and bullet feeder setup. Precision adjustment is achieved through a click-adjustable screw with 12 clicks per rotation, allowing accurate charge settings. Manufactured from durable black anodized 6061 aluminum, this powder bar is designed for reliability and long-term use in high-volume reloading setups.
