Buck Gardner Duck Call Spitfire is a ½ Reed, Acrylic Sorta Single (1.5 Reed) Acrylic Duck Call.
Buck Gardner’s Spitfire call with Spit Tech technology has spunk and is ready for anything the ducks can throw at it! Each of these great calls has a short barrel that is very easy to control and ensure full range. They each come with a .065″ thick stainless band as well as a velvet carrying bag with a cord lock. The Sorta Single system is a reed and a half, this gives the call the ability to ring on the top-end and have an extra strong low-end. All while still being forgiving like the double reed.

Acrylic calls offer consistent density with excellent acoustic qualities. The harder surface composition gives the call a sharper resonating sound. The material comes in a variety colours and can easily be polished, making for very beautiful calls. Acrylic material is more expensive for manufacturers and requires precise machining processes, so it also makes for a more expensive finished product.
Short Barrel Technology – Simply put the SBT series allow callers at any level of expertise to blow the full range needed to bring ducks within range. It offers waterfowlers an easily controlled call without sacrificing any of the sound qualities that you’ll need in a variety of hunting situations. Soft quacks, feed calling, come-backs, and hail calls are easily accomplished. The smaller air cavity provides improved caller control with less air, but still delivers plenty of boldness.
