Tough and no‑nonsense, the new X‑Bolt 2 Hunter Composite rifle is built to impress in the woods, mountains, and at the shooting range with features designed to maximize performance. Like all X‑Bolt 2 rifles, the Hunter Composite is built on a refined receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt features weight‑saving spiral fluting and a new ergonomic handle knob.

A light, sporter contour barrel offers a great balance of accuracy and weight savings. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 to accept the included radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap, or install an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for extra recoil reduction. The action is bedded and the barrel is free‑floated for consistent accuracy.

The DLX Trigger is a three‑lever design that offers zero creep, zero take‑up, and zero overtravel performance — preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds (adjustable down to 3.0 pounds).

The standout feature is the new Vari‑Tech stock. This configurable stock makes it easy to adjust comb height to dial‑in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle‑free feel. Interchangeable grip modules allow choice between sporter and vertical grip angles. Rubber overmolding on all grip surfaces provides added security in all conditions. The new 1‑1/4″ Inflex recoil pad enhances shooting comfort — especially noticeable when sending magnum rounds downrange.
