Darren being a keen shooter/hunter ever since he could hold a rifle. In early 2009 Darren wanted to purchase a rifle suppressor for one of his rifles, already having a workshop with a couple of lathes milling machines and so on he thought he would give making one a go. That’s where it all started. DPT Machinists has now grown to supply NZ and the world with over 5000 suppressors a year.
