Remington introduces the first high-velocity Foster-style lead slug, the SPHV12RS. This higher velocity slug exits the barrel at 1800 fps, which is 13% faster than standard 1 oz. slugs, delivering 200 ft-lbs more energy at 50 yards with a flatter trajectory on deer than standard 1 oz. slugs. Designed for avid deer hunters using smooth bore guns, this 12 gauge, 2-3/4″ shell features a 7/8 oz lead rifled slug.
