ZEV Technologies’ first complete 9mm pistol, the O.Z-9 is built entirely from the ground up with a focus on balance and performance. Designed for superior control, it offers reduced felt recoil, minimized muzzle flip, and faster, more accurate follow-up shots. At its core is a patent-pending steel receiver that runs the full length of the pistol, integrating the locking block and providing extended rails for increased slide contact. This design enhances durability, smooth operation, and recoil management while also channeling debris away and maintaining lubrication in high-friction areas.

The unique single-piece receiver system disperses recoil energy efficiently through the custom grip, reducing vibration and improving handling. A conveniently placed take-down pin allows for easy removal of the grip, while the trigger remains housed in the steel receiver—enabling future grip upgrades without full disassembly. Compatible with ZEV components and GLOCK® magazines, the O.Z-9 also supports future customization with various grip sizes, colors, and textures.
