UMAREX AIR JAVELIN CO2 ARCHERY RIFLE
Air Archery combines the advantages of an airgun with the positive features of a crossbow. This generation of technically sophisticated arrow rifles is made for sports and recreational use as well as for hunting purposes.
The Umarex AirJavelin is the new way to shoot arrows.
Powered by CO2, the Umarex Air Javelin launches a 170-grain air bolt at 300 fps. The AirJavelin takes airpower into a new direction with 34-foot pounds of energy delivered via Straight Flight Technology arrows. Shooters can line up the target with the installed open sights or zero in a dot sight or scope for pin-point arrow placement.
The AirJavelin has a full-length Picatinny rail on the top along with a short section below the barrel. Both sides of the AirJavelin’s stock are also equipped with M-LOK slots. The AirJavelin accepts 88-gram CO2 tanks and will launch dozens of arrows downrange on a single tank.
Lightweight and versatile, the Umarex AirJavelin is more than a new way to shoot arrows, it is a great way to open up archery fun for the whole family.
This design results in considerably enhanced precision for an archery device. The difference from a conventional bow or crossbow is that the arrows are not propelled from the back, but directly from behind the arrow head, free of vibration. In addition, there are no bulky limbs to handle and no bowstring to be pulled back with great effort. Just insert an arrow from the front until you hear a click. Then cock the trigger, release the safety and shoot.
