We know how the Steyr Mannlicher brand stands for the best of Austrian quality and craftsmanship, and this usually refers to their excellent centrefire rifles.
The new small bore follows up the excellent built quality of its ‘big sisters’ and sets totally new standards in the segment of rimfire rifles. The NRA American Hunter confirmed this in December 2018 by announcing the STEYR MANNLICHER ZEPHYR II as Rifle of the Year 2019. Further Awards received the rifle from GRAY’S BEST und SPORTING CLASSICS.
The Steyr Mannlicher Zephyr II has revived the Zephyr model back originally produced from 1955 – 1971, which was a unique rimfire rifle and old favourite. The new Zephyr Mannlicher Zephyr II sports a few more modern features and design. Instead of the Stutzen stock, the Zephyr II, while still very Steyr-esque, has a traditional sporter look and Germanic profile.
The Steyr Mannlicher Zephyr II is a beautiful rifle that possesses a fine degree of accuracy. It displays typical Steyr craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exemplary fit and finish.
