Description

MARLIN 1895 TRAPPER STAINLESS MAGPUL – 45-70 GOVT

The Marlin Firearms 1895 Trapper chambered in 45-70 Government delivers classic lever-action power in a compact, modern package. Built on the legendary Marlin Model 1895 platform, this rifle pairs a 16″ cold hammer-forged stainless barrel with durable Magpul furniture for a rugged, hard-working lever gun ready for the field.

The Magpul ELG stock and forend offer excellent durability and modularity, with M-LOK compatibility and an integrated ammo quiver that keeps six extra rounds close at hand. Adjustable length-of-pull spacers and a cheek riser allow shooters to fine-tune the fit for comfort and better optic alignment.

With a threaded barrel, adjustable Skinner Sights™ peep sight, and a smooth-cycling nitride-finished bolt, the Marlin 1895 Trapper Magpul blends traditional lever-gun reliability with modern versatility. Compact, powerful, and built for tough conditions, it’s a great choice for hunters, guides, and anyone who appreciates a serious .45-70.

Features:

  • Durable Magpul ELG stock and forend are capable of mounting a wide variety of accessories and are dimensionally stable in varying weather conditions.
  • Stock features an ammunition quiver for storage of six additional rounds.
  • Three length of pull spacers (included in box) change LOP in 1/2″ increments.
  • Cheek riser and two spacers (included in box) increase comb height for better sight alignment with optics. Cheek riser adds 1/2″ in height and each spacer adds 1/4″.
  • Receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from 416 stainless steel forgings.
  • Barrel is made of 410 stainless steel and is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
  • Nitride-finished bolt aids smooth cycling and durability.
  • Threaded barrel with a factory-installed thread protector features an 11/16″-24 pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories.
  • Stainless steel components have a satin, non-shiny finish, while the black hardware gives a distinctive appearance.
  • Adjustable Skinner Sights™ Picatinny-mounted peep sight is perfect for rapid target acquisition.
  • Five-round tubular magazine with a loading gate located on the receiver.
  • Positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer.
  • Reliably feeds a wide range of .45-70 Govt. factory ammunition and bullet types.
  • Oversized lever loop provides clearance for operation with heavy gloves.
