KRG C-4 Remington 700 Short Action Chassis – Black
Purpose built with direct feedback from top competitors and trainers the C-4 is the epitome of the modern competition rifle chassis. With sought after features such as tool-less adjustable length of pull, cheekpiece, height and cant, as well as our new bag rider height adjustment, this chassis is designed to fit the shooter for maximum comfort and repeatability. We’ve also included height and tension adjustment for your magazine to adjust for the many variations that can occur allowing your preferred AICS or AW mag to fit and feed just right.
The C-4 features a full monolithic aluminum frame, an extended 16 3/4″ forend, and an integral ARCA Rail making it extremely rigid and resistant to variations. If you are looking for the ultimate competition chassis the C-4 is ready to go for your next rifle build.
Magwell
- The front side of the magwell is extra tall to act as a barrier stop and to protect the magazine.
- Adjustable Mag Spacer for fine tuning the length of the magwell.
- Mag Tension Leaf Springs can be bent to change magazine tension or completely removed.
- Magazine height is adjustable with the Mag Height Block on either side of the mag release.
“Backbone”/Chassis
- Aluminum with radius bedding system .
- Accommodates most large aftermarket recoil lugs like the Badger Ordnance lug without any modification.
- Designed for 5 or 10 round AICS magazines.
- Will accept any barrel contour up to 1.25” straight cylinder.
- Accepts most trigger hangers.
Trigger Guard/Trigger compatibility
- Accepts most aftermarket triggers as well as receivers with a trigger hanger.
Magazines Used
- AICS or AW pattern short action magazines.
- Magazines are not included.
Forend
- Aluminum with multiple mounting points for accessories and clearance cut for scope objectives.
Buttpad
- Tool-less buttpad height and cant adjustment.
- Buttstock includes a tool-less height adjustable bag rider.
Cheekpiece
- Infinitely adjustable within range (1.1” travel).
- Cheekpiece can be quickly removed and re-installed, uses a clamp and thumbscrew design.
- Includes a simple feature to make the cheekpiece return to the exact height you set it.
- Cheekpiece can be moved forward and backward with numerous mounting positions.
- Cheekpiece made of polymer to not transmit heat to or away from your face.
Length of Pull
- Tool-less adjustable Length of Pull (LOP).
- LOP range depends on trigger used but is roughly 13” to 14 3/8”.
- Standard or Heavy KRG LOP Spacers can be added if added length is required.
