Capability in the face of the unexpected and catastrophic, the BCM® A/T™ Optic Mount is engineered for situations where absolute reliability is essential. Built in anticipation of a “no fail” shot, it delivers a secure and dependable mounting solution for your red dot optic.
Improving upon the Mil-Spec rail interface that has remained largely unchanged for more than 30 years, the BCM A/T Mount delivers exceptional zero retention when paired with a properly mounted optic. Its low-profile, snag-free design and simplified construction minimize potential failure points while maximizing strength for professional, tactical, and hard-use applications.
Each mount incorporates multiple integral recoil lugs to mitigate recoil and counter-recoil forces, helping preserve optic zero and ensure consistent shot placement. Precision-machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, every mount is hard coat anodized to Mil-A-8625F specifications, while the hardened steel clamp and nut are Nitride coated for superior durability and corrosion resistance.
The patented* Angled Torque™ (A/T) locking system uses a triangulating clamp design to generate approximately twice the clamping force on the Picatinny rail compared to traditional horizontal mounting interfaces under the same applied load. A serrated locking spring washer helps maintain torque in demanding field conditions, keeping the mount securely fastened.
