Description
BCM Compensator Mod 7 – 5.56
>Based on feedback from gunfighters, industry professionals, and Bravo Company Manufacturing (BCM) customers, BCM developed a new generation of compensators to reduce muzzle rise, flash signature, noise, and lateral pressure for tactical applications. The BCM® Compensator Mod 7-5.56 combines effective recoil management with enhanced flash suppression, making it an ideal choice for AR-15 platforms, including 14.5-inch barrels requiring permanent attachment to achieve a non-NFA overall barrel length.
Features:
- Tuned slots and ports provide muzzle rise compensation and flash reduction.
- Open tine design delivers excellent flash suppression.
- No ground-facing ports, reducing dust and debris kick-up when shooting prone or from barricades.
- Designed to produce less side blast and noise than typical compensators.
- Nitride-treated steel construction for maximum corrosion and wear resistance.
- Pre-drilled hole at the base for permanent installation (5.56 version only).
- Includes a crush washer for installation.
- Compatible with 1/2×28 threaded 5.56mm AR-15 barrels.
- Extended version of the BCM® Compensator Mod 6-5.56.
- When permanently installed per BATF specifications, extends a 14.5-inch barrel to over 16 inches (non-NFA).
- Professional installation by a qualified armorer is recommended.

Important Information:
Rifle muzzle devices operate in an extremely harsh environment where high-temperature, high-velocity combustion gases, unburnt powder, and metal particles pass through the compensator during firing. Over time, these conditions naturally cause erosion and wear to the internal surfaces. This is a normal characteristic of steel muzzle devices and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
