Capability in the face of the unexpected and catastrophic, the BCM® A/T™ Optic Mount is engineered for situations where absolute reliability is essential. Built in anticipation of a “no fail” shot, it provides a rugged and dependable mounting solution for your red dot optic.
Advancing beyond the traditional Mil-Spec rail interface that has remained largely unchanged for over 30 years, the BCM A/T Mount delivers exceptional zero retention with a properly mounted optic. Its low-profile, snag-free design and minimal component construction create a stronger mount with fewer potential points of failure, making it ideal for demanding operational environments.
Multiple integral recoil lugs help mitigate recoil and counter-recoil forces to maintain optic zero and consistent shot placement. Precision-machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, each mount is hard coat anodized to Mil-A-8625F specifications, while the hardened steel clamp and nut feature a Nitride finish for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.
The patented* Angled Torque™ (A/T) locking system utilizes a triangulating clamp design to generate approximately twice the clamping force on the Picatinny rail compared to traditional horizontal mounting interfaces when equal torque is applied. A serrated locking spring washer helps maintain torque and prevents hardware loosening during hard use.
