Delta Mike Careers

Delta Mike is seeking to employ a new staff member to join our growing business in Invercargill. Though primarily computer-based, the job will include a broad range of tasks. The applicant will assist with a variety of website development and maintenance responsibilities, such as expanding our line of products, improving current product listings, composing product descriptions, and using our photography room to capture, edit and deliver new product photos. With spare time, the applicant will also help with customer service tasks including sales at the storefront, answering calls, sending emails, and assisting warehouse staff on busy days.

The successful applicant will have the following qualities: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and other staff members. Ideally, the applicant will have highly proficient computer skills and be familiar with WordPress, WooCommerce, MailChimp, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel (or equivalent platforms). Design and general photography expertise are advantageous for the position. Preferably the applicant will have a background in the firearms industry, the more you know, the better. However, since this role is mostly behind the scenes, in-depth industry understanding is not necessarily required. Most importantly, the successful applicant must fit the Delta Mike company culture.
