The Mil-Tec 55 litre Commando backpack is a good looking hiking bag with good properties and heavy duty materials. The backpack is made of 600D polyester which can resist most of the elements the mother nature decides to throw at you. The ‘D’ in 600D polyester fabric represents Denier, an indirect yarn count which denotes the thickness of the Yarn. 600D implies nine metres of yarn which weighs 600 grams. The fabric is widely used in the manufacture of bags, industry and garments. It has many good features like: waterproof, anti-static, tear resistant and flame retardant.
This Commando pack is olive in color and blends perfectly with your other hiking gear. It has top and bottom compartments which can be accessed separately, or then combined to a bigger single compartment via zippered double bottom. Two side pockets with zippers and a back pocket with a mesh net for some small items you might need frequently at your trip. Commando backpack also has an map pocket built inside and is supported with aluminium skeleton which runs inside the backpack. The aluminium frame is removable. The top lid has a small zippered pocket and two straps which you can use for attaching additional camping gear.
This pack is very well built and can withstand some harsh use in daily basis. It has padded straps all around and extra padding at the back.
